Some of our specialized services and areas of expertise include:

Regardless of an organization’s size, the building blocks of the plan remain unchanged. New Heights can work with your organization to develop strategic and operational plans that address each component while aligning with your organization’s budget.
We assist our clients with:
- Understanding and confirming strategic direction and the current systems and services environment
- Establishing the information services and technology needs and determining the IT “future state”
- Determining what tactical initiatives must be operationalized to realize the “future state”, and developing the operational model, along with associated costs.
Systems Evaluation and Selection
New Heights has worked with providers including hospitals and health information exchanges in developing and managing an objective and fully transparent systems evaluation and selection process. The approach is proven yet flexible to address the specific needs and requirements of the organization.
Requirements for Hospital and Physician System Evaluations and Selection for clinical and/or financial systems must focus on addressing meaningful use requirements as outlined by ONC and CMS and must include workflow enhancement, functional capabilities, technical architecture and interoperability. Additionally, one must scrutinize the vendor’s viability, implementation capabilities and support structure.
Requirements for Health Information Exchanges also must focus on addressing meaningful use requirements as outlined above and address:
- Coordination with other regional, state and federal entities (e.g. Local Health Information Organizations, Medicaid, Nationwide Health Information Network)
- Costing approaches to align with financial sustainability model.
